The first Public Nation Branding Masterclass, supported by BBC World, was held at the Langham Hotel in London in 2007 and was attended by 200 people. The London Masterclass has become an annual event, held to coincide with World Travel Market, and co-sponsored by WTM. From 2009, a series of regional Public Masterclasses will be held in the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, South Asia, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
